It's that time again, young artists! After a bit of an absence, the cartoon caption contest is back. Kids between the ages of 6 and 10 are invited to dream up a caption of the cartoon and send in their suggestions. You've got until Friday, June 13 to do so.
So tell us what you think those puppets are saying. Perhaps they're talking about their favourite Olympic sports. Maybe about what they've going to watch on Olympics coverage. Maybe even whether they want to be in the Olympics some day.
Cut out the cartoon, add your captions and send it in to: The Current in care of Oshawa This Week, 865 Farewell St., Oshawa, L1H 7L5. Or drop it off at the office. Or simply send your captions in an e-mail to interactive@durhamregion.com.
The winner and honourable mentions will be published in The Current later in June.
