Business tradeshow set

WHITBY -- Business people can learn how to access support by speaking one-on-one with provincial and municipal government representatives at a business support trade show May 14.

Government representatives will be on hand for the First Annual Destination Success event aimed at assisting participants in finding programs, services and resources to support local businesses.

Educational sessions on topics of interest to entrepreneurs will also take place throughout the day.

The free event, organized by Whitby's economic development department, takes place from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Cullen Central Park, 300 Taunton Rd. W., at Cochrane.
