Dr. Laura-Lee Kearns's worry about the loss of Rundle House may be for not!

While Oshawa council passed a motion to not interfere in the progress of the cancer lodge, this council has recently set precedent for reversal of its decisions. A few weeks ago, it was reported that discussion around the proposed heritage study would be deferred until the second week of October.

Last week Mayor John Gray moved that Development Services reconsider that decision and move forward with the public consultation.

With this direction of one-step forward, one-step back, Rundle House may well enjoy many more years.
