Older Adults celebrate Senior's Month

BOWMANVILLE -- The Clarington Older Adult Association will be offering free drop-in programs during June, which is Seniors' Month.

From June 2 to June 30, programs that will be free of charge include billiards, stretch and tone class, canasta, bid euchre and duplicate bridge.

Donation jars and staff sporting Older Adult Association T-shirts will be available at a number of area businesses to raise funds and awareness for and about the group's activities.

The association runs out of 26 Beech Ave. in Bowmanville. Hours are Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
