Christine Lynne Murphy, 38, succumbed to injuries sustained when the van she was travelling in left the roadway and crashed into a tree near the community of Young's Point, Peterborough County OPP said.

Four children were in the van and were treated at hospital for minor injuries after the accident on North School Road, police said. A 40-year-old man was airlifted from the scene to an intensive care unit in Toronto, where he was listed in stable condition.
